He completed his internship at South Baltimore General Hospital in Baltimore, MD. He completed his residency in 1992 at Howard University and his fellowship in 1994 at the University of Pittsburgh – Thomas E. Starzl Transplant Institute.

In his free time, Dr. Stevenson enjoys flying, scuba diving and traveling.
