Vertigo is a sensation of a room spinning or of dizziness or impaired balance. Vertigo is typically caused by an inner ear problem. Our skilled and competent PT staff can assess the problem and treat vertigo on the same day. If symptoms persist, the patient returns until the vertigo is gone. Vertigo treatment lasts anywhere from 30-45 minutes per session and it takes from 1-6 sessions to properly treat. The therapist will also assess a patient’s balance, gait and transfer safety, and neck range of motion and flexibility and prescribe an individualized program to address all related deficits.
