Medical Education
Clarion Hospital is pleased to be one of the few osteopathic teaching facilities in the state of Pennsylvania. Our 86-bed facility offers the advantage of an intimite learning environment, in which students, interns and residents get real hands-on experience. The attending physicians are passionate about teaching and mentoring.
The hospital built a new residency clinic in 2006, where residents have office hours and regularly provide OMT.
Clarion provides a beautiful backdrop to your education with rolling hills, national and state parks, theater, 50 miles of boating and fishing on the Clarion River, a thriving downtown, safe neighborhoods, and top-rated schools. The rural setting is near major cities like Pittsburgh and Cleveland. Housing for medical students is provided in downtown Clarion or the nearby Reinhard Villages.
We invite you to look at our positions and contact our current interns and residents.
