Clarion Hospital Emergency Medical Services exists to provide our citizens and visitors with the highest possible quality in prehospital emergency medical services while identifying customer service at every level of our operation.
The EMS fleet at Clarion Hospital consists of:
- 7 Modular Mobile Intensive Care Units
- 2 Wheelchair Vans
- 2 Paramedic Squads with Advanced Life Support capabilities
In 2008, Clarion Hospital EMS responded to:
- 6333 total calls, including
- 3039 Emergency Calls
- 350 Advanced Life Support Interfacility Transfers
- 454 Non-Emergency Transfers
- 2007 Wheelchair Transfers
- 463 Wheelchair by Stretcher Transfers
