Clarion Hospital Emergency Medical Services exists to provide our citizens and visitors with the highest possible quality in prehospital emergency medical services while identifying customer service at every level of our operation.
The EMS fleet at Clarion Hospital consists of:
- 7 Modular Mobile Intensive Care Units
- 2 Wheelchair Vans
- 1 Paramedic Squad with Advanced Life Support capabilities
In 2006, Clarion Hospital EMS responded to:
- 6356 total calls, including
- 3041 Emergency Calls
- 337 Advanced Life Support Interfacility Transfers
- 455 Non-Emergency Transfers
- 2102 Wheelchair Transfers
- 421 Wheelchair by Stretcher Transfers
